Soon to be next to Marmaduke in your Sunday funnies

Hi! I have been posting these on Facebook/Tumblr, but I realized some of my beloved readers are not on those places, so here they are....I plan to keep doing these because they are enjoyable for me, and I have no blog post ideas at the moment. Thanks for reading, and let me know what you think.

  1. Thanks for showing us these. I got hysterical over the hot mess series! It must be so fun to live in your head!

    1. Apparently I misunderstood what a hot mess is though. I guess its actually bad. Who knew? Apparently people who like to correct people when they are wrong knew.

    1. Thanks Mandy-it is a pain to draw because it has no face. So what is it thinking? How should I know? I just slap some sausage arms on it and call it a day.

    1. Yes I am alive. I just have had no ideas lately. I think I'll keep fooling around with the comics until something better strikes my imagination.

  4. Dear Mr GweenBrick, I wish to make a complaint. Not about anything in particular, it's just that I wish I could complain but I get all nervous and stuff and then chicken out at the last minute. My nerves always seem to get the best of me.

So in summary, I enjoyed this post immensely. Brilliant as always.
Right, that's me done for the next 6 months. :)

    1. Wait a minute! What's the complaint, lily? Now you have to tell me. I know, I know, I am a bad blogging friend responder....I just...I just...I suck at it, ok? I just suck at it.

    2. I'm with ya, Lily. You respond & respond and NOTHING back from too-good-for-us-Gweenie. But the sh*t's funny. It's like my crack of the blogosphere.

    3. WHAT?? Alright alright I will try to be a better commentator person of blogging. But don't expect anything witty, cause I got bupkis

  5. This was funny! I loved a desire to be hot was because then you don't have to talk to people :-)

    1. Thanks adot! I guess I am sort of living the dream anyways, because I don't talk to people very often. I don't like how they all have eyes and they expect you to make contact with them. Its very distracting.

  6. I'm so glad you posted all of these! I've seen some on Facebook but apparently I missed quite a few.

Here's a deep thought for you: If a hot man lives in the forest without anyone to witness his hotness, is he really hot at all?

    1. First of all, congrats on your book release! You are really doing stuff.
As for your hypothetical scenario, I would put all of my eggs in the basket labeled 'as long as he can see himself reflected in a woodland stream, then that's all the hot that ever mattered to hot people ever.'

    1. I try to avoid making myself seem like Charlie Brown, but the similarities are there in real life, so its hard to get around it

  8. I have been waiting for this post for weeks and you did not disappoint. Maybe next time... Awesome as always Gweenbrick. I especially loved the He-Man costume. (Is it He-Man? I'm not entirely down with the male cartoon genre)

    1. Thanks for your nice comments! It was indeed He-man. Like many 80s children, I am addicted to the pop culture of my youth. I love to draw them.

  9. For some reason I keep thinking your brain looks like a pumice stone in these. That's obscure even for me.

    1. That's funny, but I should tell you that he is terrible at removing callouses from the feet. He just gets brain jelly on everything.
